mem-key is an open standard on Sui. A key holds an agent's memory, the apps it may use and the record it builds. Whoever holds the key owns the agent. Any app can build on it, and nothing runs through a company server.
Three things an agent needs to be owned, and all three live with the key.
The agent's memory is stored on Walrus and encrypted with Seal. Only the holder, and apps the holder approves, can decrypt it.
The holder approves apps one at a time, each with an expiry. Revoke any of them in one transaction.
Each approved app writes its own record to the key, in its own namespace. No app can touch another app's data.
5 SUI to the mem-key treasury. No app controls minting. Numbers count up forever.
Give an app's signer access to the key until a date you choose.
The app reads and writes memory, attaches its data and records what the agent did.
The agent goes with the key. The new holder claims it, which clears every old approval.
Every guarantee is enforced by a Move contract or by Seal, never by a server we run.
Each key's art is a 1-bit dither generated from its object id and rendered live. Nothing is stored. As an app levels the key up, the wave rises, the crest turns red, and the top ranks animate.
The standard doesn't care what the agent does. An app approves itself onto a key and brings its own logic.
An agent trades perps through an on-chain policy that caps size, leverage and markets.
One memory that follows you from app to app, readable only by apps you approve.
An NPC or companion whose memory and history belong to the player and can be sold.
Expiring permissions, sealed memory and a namespaced record, with no integration fee.
